Ranger Speed, Agility and Strength

Norsemen Lacrosse presents Ranger Speed, Agility and Strength training For the Summer of 2021.

The Ranger training will emphasize on different aspects of Speed, Agility and Strength.

Speed and Agility

Acceleration- how fast and quick one can change their speed from stop to max velocity.

                                Maximal Velocity- Top Speed

                                Speed Endurance- Endurance of one’s max Velocity  or close to max velocity

                                Mobility and Flexibility

                                Explosive Changes in direction of speed

                Strength

                                Strength training will be high velocity circuit training, NOT CROSSFIT!!! The Ranger strength training will emphasis on body weight, body control and high reps.

 

On top of the physical fitness hour, Norsemen lax will be offering lacrosse training directly after the Speed, Agility and Strength training. During this training, it will not be a conditioning course for lacrosse. The training will consist of ball placement, ball control, shooting on the run, creating eyes on the stick and off ball movement. It will be instructional and then high reps training.  See schedule attachment for prices.

 

There will be two different schedules for in school times and Summer out of school times. See schedule attachment. Waivers must be signed. There will be no exceptions to participating unless a waiver is signed by a parent.

Each class will start and end with strengthening the mind. We will start the class with a lesson of the day and we will end the training with reaching that lesson.

This training is open to all athletes who want to strive and push themselves. This training will not be easy, it will be very difficult at first, whether it’s the teaching of proper form or the pure mental grit of the training. Kids will be asked to push themselves. Ages must be between 10 and 15. If there is high school athletes that want Speed, Agility and Strength training please contact me for personal lessons as HS athletes will be tailored differently in training.

Norsemen!! This is the Norsemen 500. Complete this 10 times for a total of 5000 reps before May 21st for a custom Norsemen end cap for your stick.  When you finish send Coach your best one liner saying you completed the challenge.
